Palatal® P 80-02 is an unsaturated polyester based on Orthophthalic acid used for the manufacturing of gelcoats and formulated products with low color requirement.
Major Applications
Because of its low viscosity Palatal® P 80-02 features excellent impregnation behavior during the production of formulated resin systems and gelcoats.
Moldings made from Palatal® P 80-02 feature very good mechanical properties.
Furthermore Palatal® P 80-02 allows high filler loadings in the production of artificial stone and polymer concrete.
Certifications and Approvals
Cured unreinforced Palatal® P 80-02 conforms to type 1140 according to DIN 16 946/2 and is classified in group 1 according to DIN 18 820/1.
